One often hears people commenting about the presence of a child in every man and it in fact do get reflected at times under various circumstances. However, by all probable means it gets most clearly articulated when it comes to weapons and their use and applications. Just like a child with his first toy gun or bursting his maiden cracker during celebrations, even grown ups seem to draw equal amounts of delight from holding a magnum .44 or swishing a switchblade knife. Many attribute this trend to the agencies of popular culture like movies and its tendency to project them as what can only be described as cool. If that is indeed the case, perhaps nothing comes near to the fantasy, adventure or romance of that of a Samurai sword which has captured the imaginations of millions round the globe with its sheer elegance, style and panache.

Samurai swords which are actually called ‘Katana’ have been a part of the Japanese tradition and culture for hundreds of years and have emerged as a symbol of their heritage rather than being a mere piece of tool for self defense. As a matter of fact, these swords are not and have never been a commercially produced and marketed factory product but hand made in a most complicated process by only few highly skilled craftsmen in certain parts of the country. The forging procedure of a Katana involves different complex steps and includes various specific components. The swords are in fact made up of a particular variety of steel made in Japan known as Tamahagane and it undergoes an array of processes of heating, cooling, curving using various catalysts and agents to finally achieve the greatness and enduring qualities of a true Samurai sword. However, amidst all these discussions about the sword, one must not neglect or ignore the fact about the care and maintenance efforts that are required to be devoted towards a Katana in order to keep it in the best of conditions. One of the first and foremost things that an individual must think of while taking care of a Samurai sword is the fact that a lot of the sword’s condition depends upon the way it is stored.

Although it is always recommended to keep the sword in a protected place away from the atmospheric erosive elements such as heat or moisture, one must make it a point to bring it out from time to time so as to prevent the attack of rust or mold. Moreover, the sword is also required to be cleaned with certain specific agents such as oil, wax based cleansing agents, etc. These maintenance steps ensure that the sword does not loose its polish which it is known for. The oiling process of the sword should be followed by powdering the blade and then lightly wiping it off. One must remember not to touch the blade by hand as the moisture from the palm or the fingers can lead to the rusting of the blade. These minute yet essential steps will guarantee that the Katana is always ready for combat with a shining blade and a sharp edge.

The Black Legion was an organization who worked along with the Ku Klux Clan. They are a sort of political movement who operated in the United States around 1930s. They commanded their own separate military lines, battalions, brigades, regiments and companies. The most fierce and feared of the Black Legions was the Barumen Axemen of Lokonia. They consist of the largest and the most ferocious Barumen soldiers who carried the famous Black Legion Battle Axe Sword. The Barumen Axemen guarded the Dark One’s army and acted as his main vanguards. The Barumen Axemen was skilled soldiers who were specially trained to use this heavy Black Legion Battle Axe Sword. The Barumen Axemen used these axes with a skill so deadly that was feared by almost every citizen of those times. Along with these Black Legion Battle Axes, they were also armored heavily with plate steel and leather. The Barumen Axemen actually carried two of these Black Legion Battle Axe Swords.

The Black Legion Battle Axe Swords contained leather grips for a better hold. The Battle Axe Swords also had curved and hooked metal blades, which are sharper to tear off anything, which it strikes. These Swords also contain a pommel, which is capable of even crushing skulls to pieces. The Black Legion Battle Axes serve two purposes. These Swords can be used as a hook in order to pull your enemy like a piece of fish. The other use of these Black Legion Battle Axe Swords is that of the normal axes, that is, they can also be used to chop off anything from trees to someone’s head. The Black Legion Battle Axe Swords have devastating effects on whichever object it strikes. Just the look of these Black Legion Battle Axe Swords is sure to terrorize the enemy and make him retreat in the battlefield. The twin points of these Black Legion Battle Axe Swords are its specialty. The Dark Elves themselves carved the Black Legion Battle Axe Swords. But the wonderful fact is that each of these Black legion Battle Axe Swords carved by the dark elves are very much identical. The Black Legion Battle Axe Swords have a finely detailed structure made out of solid metal parts. The twin blades are made up of fine stainless steel.

These Black Legion Battle Axe Swords offered by the Swords Depot are a brilliant replica of the original axes, which were carried by the Barumen Axemen. The authenticity of the Barumen Black Legion Battle Axe Sword offered by the swords depot is original. They offer a validity certificate along with a black and white collector art print. The art print contains the Barumen Designer Kit Rae. The Black Legion Battle Axe Sword also carries a trademark, which cannot be easily forged. The overall length of the sword runs to 35 inches along with a 15inch 420 stainless steel blades with false edges. This Kit Rae’s Black Legion Battle Axe Sword is really worth a collection for those who love antiques and especially those weapons used in warfare.

There are iron swords made in the early 13th century. There are at times steel was not available and so people started using iron. Iron blade is not so strong and sharp as steel, but was still in use for some time. Centurion swords are made of steel.
